Your information

Privacy Policy

How Research Only collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use this website or contact our team.

Effective August 27, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information Research Only handles through this website, store transactions, and Customer Support. It does not govern a third party’s independent practices.

Information you provide

We may collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, account credentials, order details, product selections, and the messages or files you send to Customer Support.

Payment providers process payment-card, bank, or other payment details. We generally receive payment status, transaction references, and limited billing information rather than full payment credentials.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, we and our service providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers.

For fraud prevention and troubleshooting, we may also retain limited checkout diagnostics, such as an email address associated with an attempt, order status, and a redacted payment-failure message. We do not intentionally record full payment-card data in these diagnostic logs.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the cart and checkout, remember settings, secure the site, understand performance, measure advertising, and improve our services.

Our site uses Meta advertising and measurement tools, including browser identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc and server-side conversion reporting. Depending on your interaction, information sent to Meta may include cookie identifiers, IP address, browser information, site activity, order details, and hashed contact information. Meta processes this information under its own privacy terms.

You can limit many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking functional cookies may prevent parts of the store from working correctly.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate the store; create and manage accounts; process payments, orders, returns, and deliveries; provide Customer Support; communicate about transactions; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot failures; measure and improve the site; personalize and evaluate advertising; enforce our terms; and meet legal, accounting, tax, and compliance obligations.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors that support hosting, ecommerce, payment processing, fraud prevention, order fulfillment, shipping, communications, support, analytics, and advertising. We may also disclose information to professional advisers; to authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse; and as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Service providers receive information based on the work they perform for us. Some advertising and analytics partners may use information for their own purposes under their terms.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising and analytics technologies may be considered “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may request to opt out of those disclosures by contacting us using the details below.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable requirements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, where reasonably practicable.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or a copy of personal information, correction, deletion, or information about how data is used and disclosed; to opt out of certain sales, sharing, profiling, or targeted advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.

Submit a request by email or phone using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Legal exceptions may apply. You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message; transactional communications will continue when necessary.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal obligations. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or another appropriate channel.
